History

Church registers can include information regarding births, deaths, and other information regarding the enslaved or African Americans, especially in older churches.  The Society has church registers for: St. Paul’s Episcopal, Christ Church Episcopal, Methodists, Quakers, and Methodist Episcopal churches.
