One More River to Cross

History

This is the true story of the enslaved Isaac Brown and his enslaver and Middleham parishioner Alexander Somervell.  Somervell falsely accused Brown of shooting him.  The story describes Brown being convicted and sold south to Louisiana, escaping and finding his way to Canada, where he became a doctor.  His relatives live near Windsor, Canada.
