Unified Committee for Afro-American Contributions Oral History Collection. The Saint Mary’s County Historical Society (SMCHS) has the CD disk records of 85 oral histories from African Americans living in Southern Maryland. These oral histories were taken in the 1990s and 2000s and give a unique perspective on 20th and 21st-century African American history and culture in St. Mary’s County.
