Bayside History Museum

The Bayside History Museum educates the public and visitors about the natural and cultural history of North Beach, Chesapeake Beach, and surrounding beach communities through collections, preservation, conservation, research, exhibits, and related programming.

The Bayside History Museum has several exhibits which tell the history and stories of people of color in the southern Anne Arundel and northern Calvert County region. These exhibits include Native People on the Bay and Employed, But Not Equal. We also have collections which are available to researchers such as Calvert County Slaves and the War of 1812.
